We invite artists to submit work for an exhibition celebrating humor in all its forms — witty, sarcastic, absurd, ironic, playful, and delightfully unexpected. Comic Relief explores how art can make us laugh, smirk, question, and see the world from a slightly off-center point of view.
2D and 3D works that incorporate humor, satire, exaggeration, parody, or visual punchlines are welcome. Whether subtle and dry or bold and outrageous, we encourage creative interpretations of the theme. All media are invited, including painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, printmaking, ceramics, and mixed media.
Price: All pieces must be for sale and are subject to a 40% commission fee if sold.
Size: no larger than 18″ x 24″ (frame included)
Entry fee: $10 per piece. Cash or check upon delivery.
Delivery: Work must be delivered to Fisher Gallery by April 1st during regular business hours. Unsold pieces can be collected from April 27 – May 2nd in the Fisher Gallery.
FVAC is a non-profit 501(c) 3 arts organization. All donations will be used to underwrite exhibition costs.
