About the Instructor
Phoebe Katzin has been designing and constructing costumes for modern dance companies for 30 years. She started doing stained glass work about 12 years ago to keep her creative thoughts going, but not at her sewing machine. She fell in love with glass and all aspects of creating stained glass. She has studied with a stained glass artist ever since, and she has been working with him on projects and repairs for the last 7 years. She loves teaching and helping students use their imaginations to create works of art.

Join consignment artist Phoebe Katzin for a hands-on fused glass workshop and discover the art of glass weaving! Using colorful glass strips, participants will learn a simple weaving technique to create two unique pieces: a 7-inch decorative plate and a small candle votive. Explore patterns, colors, and textures as you design your own beautiful glass creations.
After the workshop, both pieces will be kiln-fired and shaped into their final forms, ready for pickup at a later date.
Refreshments will be served, and the gallery will be open for your enjoyment. Cheers!
