About the Instructor


Sharon Dvora
 has 20 years of experience as an art educator, sharing her passion for creativity, art, and design with students of all ages in various settings: K-12 public schools, teacher education, early childhood learning, and museum education. She earned an MFA from Pacific Northwest College of Art (PNCA) in Collaborative Design, exploring design methods and multi-disciplinary approaches to engaging community stakeholders and generating creative solutions for social and environmental needs.

FVAC studio artist Sharon Dvora will share her passion for painting abstract patterns using gouache paint on artist paper. Students will transform their hand-painted papers into one-of-a-kind hanging mobiles using Sharon’s playful method of cutting shapes and machine stitching. 

The completed paper mobiles will be ready for display and add a whimsical touch to your home decor!

Refreshments will be served, and the gallery will be open for your enjoyment. Cheers!
