In addition to numerous awards, Karen’s work has garnered the honor of Signature Member with the American Artists Professional League, Master Circle with the International Association of Pastel Societies, and Master Pastelist with the Pastel Society of America. Karen is an artist member of the Salmagundi Club, NYC, The Copley Society, Boston, and the Lyme Art Association.

Join award-winning pastel artist Karen Israel for an immersive workshop exploring the delicate beauty of tulips in soft pastels.
Under Karen’s expert guidance, you’ll begin by sketching your floral arrangement on a pretreated gator board. Whether using provided samples or your own references, Karen will lead you through the step-by-step process of applying and blending soft pastels to capture the essence of the tulips. Additionally, Karen will share invaluable tips on protecting and framing your finished masterpiece. Please bring vinyl gloves if you prefer to keep your hands clean during the creative process.
You will leave with a delightful still life, ready to frame.
