Artist Statement

I am a painter and illustrator currently living and working in Connecticut. I have been a maker all my life. From childhood, I was always more of a quiet observer and loved to be outside interacting with the natural world. Animals, plant life, and fresh air are my greatest sources of inspiration and where I find a connection to myself. When I am not creating the artwork you see here, you may find me out walking, baking, doodling, planning the spring planting season, or digging in the dirt. 

I aspire to create an atmosphere in each piece that will resonate with the observer in some personal way. Communication is what drives me to live the devotion to making art.
