I believe beauty is all around us in ordinary places and in ordinary things. We only need to pause for a moment and become mindful of our surroundings. This is the goal of my work. To reflect on the beauty that surrounds you and to give you eyes to see.

The world has a way of pressing in on us. And we tend to feel the weight of our daily struggles longer than we should. The stress of these burdens deteriorates our sense of peace and well-being. Fine art restores the balance.

When I paint, I get a profound feeling of peace, even if it’s just for a moment, and I long to impart that feeling to you. My goal has always been to share the happiness and contentment I experience with you through watercolor.

Painting plein-air is my joy, and watercolor is my favorite medium. When I’m not painting outdoors, I’m working as a full-time commissioned painter and watercolor Instructor for various institutions such as the West Hartford Art League and the Southington Community Cultural Arts Center.

I’m deeply honored to say that my work has won awards in multiple juried competitions, and grateful to have had the opportunity to show my paintings nationally. As a plein-air painter, I work hard to make my watercolors feel like they have an essence of the place that they were painted, and I’m grateful that many of these pieces have found homes with collectors locally and worldwide.

I graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Hartford Art School and furthered my exploration of painting and education during a residency at the Farmington Valley Arts Center in 2018.
